Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

A plane transporting Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the jet's front window, as stated by an announcement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane touched down in accordance with established safety measures and everyone onboard, including Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This incident is not the first time that a American defense plane transporting a senior official has experienced equipment failures.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was required to head back to Washington after encountering a mechanical problem.
